Citywise are a fantastic charity that works with schools and families to help young people, especially those living in disadvantage, to achieve their potential, live flourishing lives and make a positive contribution to society.
Citywise had a simple Squarespace website, but wanted a complete design overhaul, with auto-playing snapshot videos and fun animations throughout the website. The new website needed to appeal to three distinct groups of people: parents, schools and mentors.
We created a new WordPress website with a blog and the ability to add events. Citywise had a logo and we made use of the arrow motif and their purple and orange colour scheme so their branding is consistent across their website and printed materials. We introduced three new vibrant colours for mentors, school and families to clearly mark the different types of people that visit the site.
It was important that potential mentors could apply easily to the mentoring programs in Manchester and Glasgow. We created an application form automatically feeds straight into Citywise’s customer relationship manager, saving them time and streamlining the application process.
“It has been great working with Liz on our new site. We wanted not only the content, but the whole look and feel to shout out ‘youthwork charity’. Liz has injected so much energy and fun into the design and build and we’re now really proud to show our site to student volunteers, kids, parents and teachers.”
